Maria is an exceptional person, kind and helpful. I'm very grateful of being there because I was extremely tired as i just arrived from a very long trip, i was sleepy and a little grumpy, still she did her best. I can't say absolutely nothing but good things. If you're travelling to castelgrande, you found the correct place to stay. Food is also amazing.

Visited Castelgrande with my wife and two little kids on a curiosity mission to trace the roots of her ancestors. Thank you very much for the kind couple running the hotel. Our stay in town was perfect.

Maria Grazie and Francesco have done an excellent job resurrecting this business. The restaurant was buzzing every night with locals and people from adjoining towns. The hotel rooms are simple, clean and functional (although, I will never understand why Italian bed and breakfasts have such tiny shower stalls). The location was great as well.
